TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
(1) Regular Membership is open only to those persons who
are:
(a) currently serving or have served honorably in the
United States Marine Corps on active duty for not less than ninety (90) days and earned the Eagle, Globe and Anchor;
(b) currently serving or have served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and have earned no less than ninety (90) reserve retirement credit points;
(c) currently serving or have served as a United States Navy F.M.F. Sailor who has trained with Marine F.M.F. Units in excess of ninety (90) days and earned the Marine Corps Device (clasp) or the Warfare Device worn on the Service Ribbon. If discharged, be in receipt of a DD214 or a Certificate of Discharge indicating "Honorable Service." ("Honorable Service" will be defined by the last DD214 or Certificate of Discharge that the applicant received.) General Discharged under Honorable Conditions is acceptable.
(2) Associate Membership is available to those individuals not qualified for regular membership who espouse the principles and purposes of the Marine Corps League as contained in its Congressional Charter. Upon application to this Detachment, they may be accepted for Associate Membership in the Marine Corps League. Associate members shall be entitled to the rights, privileges and benefits of regular members, except that Associate Members shall not vote on membership or election of officers and shall not hold an elective office.
NEW MEMBERSHIP
Interested in becoming a regular member or an associate
member? You can do so by providing us with a completed membership application,
a copy of your DD214 (if becoming a regular member), and a check in the amount
of $35 made payable to "MCL 1138."

RENEWAL MEMBERSHIP
To renew your annual membership, please issue a $30 check made payable to
"MCL 1138" and either bring it to the monthly meeting or mail it to
MCL 1138, P.O. Box 137, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301.
LIFE MEMBERSHIP
For those members that wish to "Go Life" with their membership,
saving money over the years, eliminating having to remember to renew each year,
and saving much paperwork and time, these are the current rates, depending on
your age:
Up to 35 years of age --- $1,000.00
Ages 36 to 50 ------------- $ 800.00
Ages 51 to 64 ------------- $ 600.00
Ages 65 to 84 ------------- $ 400.00
