Membership Interested in becoming a regular member or associate member? You can do so by supplying us with a membership application, a copy of your DD214 (if becoming a regular
member) and a check in the amount of $30 made payable to “Washington County Marine Corps League”. You can obtain an application by:
Renewal Membership To
renew your annual membership, please issue a check made payable to "Washington County Marine Corps League" in the amount of $25.
Life Membership For those members that wish to "Go Life" with
their membership, saving money over the years, eliminating having to remember to renew each year, and saving much paperwork
and time, these are the rates, depending on your age:
Up to 35 years of age ------------- $400.00
Age 36 to 50 -------------------------- $350.00
Age 51 to 60 -------------------------- $250.00 61 and over ---------------------------
$125.00

Adjutant/Paymaster to set up a payment plan to make incremental payments toward your Life Membership.
Types of Membership Regular membership is open only to those persons who are serving or who have served
honorably in the United States Marine Corps for not less than ninety (90) days and persons who are serving or have served
in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and have earned no less than ninety (90) reserve retirement credit points. U. S.
Navy Corpsmen who have trained with Marine F.M.F. Units in excess of 90 days and earned the Marine Corps Device (CLASP) worn
on the service ribbon and those who earn the Warfare Device authorized for F.M.F. Corpsmen shall be eligible for regular membership
in the Marine Corps League. Upon application for membership to the Washington County Detachment 1138, those persons will be
required to present their DD214 or copy of their Honorable Discharge to the Detachment Adjutant.
Associate membership is available to those individuals not qualified for regular membership in the Marine Corps
League who espouse the principles and purposes of the Marine Corps League as contained in its Congressional Charter.
Upon application to this Detachment, they may be accepted for Associate Membership in the Marine Corps League. Associate members
shall be entitled to the rights, privileges and benefits of regular members, except that associate members shall not vote
on membership or election of officers and shall not hold an elective office.
